Kitty in the Christmas tree

If my kitties could do this, they definitely would. Just love this cute set "Ornamental Newton" from Newton's Nook and created this little card for it. The branches are from the Lawn Fawn set Frosty Fairy friends.
Newton in the Christmas tree

I made two cards with this cute image (I need all the Copic practice I can get). I only changed up the patterned paper and the color of the sequins, otherwise they are the same.
Another version of Newton in the Christmas tree

I entered this card in the Inkypaws Challenge #85 which was a color challenge and I got picked as a favorite. Yay.

Happy Halloween with MFT ghosts

Love these cute little ghosts from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and embossed with glow-in-the-dark embossing powder from WOW! It works great.

Frame is from Mama Elephant, Grid Window, grassy border from Lawn Fawn and the background is done with Distress Oxides.

Rainbow kitty tree

The latest release from Mama Elephant was so cute. My favorite however had, hands down, to be Oh Kitty Tree. Here I have colored it again with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers in pastel colors. I first heat embossed with Versafine Onyx black ink and clear embossing powder.

For the gold details I've used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry colors.

The panel is die cut with the Wonky stitched frame from My Favorite Things.

A meowy christmas to all!

Oh kitty tree in green and brown

Last weekend I got the new Oh Kitty Tree from Mama Elephant and immediately wanted to take it out for a test drive. There is a challenge going on at Cupcake inspirations right now, color challenge, and the colors are brown and green. So, this is my take on it.
Mama Elephant Oh Kitty Tree in brown and green
The kitties and sentiment are heat embossed in black (Versafine Onyx black + clear embossing powder) and then I colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Some of the details are done with the Starry gold colors from Kuretake. The background I stamped with some of the small stamps in the set. I used Lawn Fawn ink on craft card stock.

The panel is popped up with fun foam to add a little extra.

I can't get over how cute this stamp is. I'll be sending lots of kitty cards this Christmas.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 34 – My Favorite Place

This is my entry for this round of the Lawn Fawnatics challenge 34 which is all about "My favorite place". I love sunsets. Really. I have a very hard time tearing my eyes away from one. I also love kitty cats so that kind of decided the theme for this card.
I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set "Meow you doin'" for the cats and the sentiment. I used a Versamark pen to only get ink on the outside lines of the kitty so that it could look like they were staring away in the sunset. The hearts and clouds are from "Plane and simple" and are heat embossed on vellum. The sun is from "Out of this world", heat embossed in white on the background.

Distress inks for the background in the following colors;
Mustard seed
Wild honey
Picked raspberry
Festive berries
Salty ocean
Wilted violet

I tried to hide the adhesive behind the heat embossed lines on the vellum but that's easier said then done...!

Half the leaves are embossed in gold and the other half are cut from black cardstock.

The rest of the dies used here are all from Lawn Fawn;
Leafy tree backdrop
Stitched hillside borders
Cloud borders

Sublime birthday shaker

Used one of my ink smooshed backgrounds to create this shaker card. I used a Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle and also a rectangle to create the frame. The frame is popped up with foam tape and the panel is inset.

 I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to color my images. Some are inside the shaker and some on the clear plastic piece. I used some sequins from Neat and Tangled to fill it up. Love the sound of a shaker card =)

Wedding mermaid popup box

A friend asked me to make a wedding card for a couple that likes partying and sun and swimming. She really liked the scalloped box popup card so I decided to go with the Lawn Fawn set "Mermaid for you" with a couple of drinks and sentiments from Newton's Nook Cocktail mixer stamp set.

Fun fold, take 2

Another card up on Pysslotekets blogg today. I was really in to the fun folds and had to try this fold that I saw on Pinterest. You'll find all descriptions and measurements in the post.

Fun fold, take 1

I wanted to join the Lawnfawnatics challenge for Fun Folds and entered this card inspired by the talented Christy Gets Crafty who did the same fold technique in the inspiration post. I used a ton of stamps from Lawn Fawn from;
You are sublime
Ahoy, matey
Mermaid for you

You can read more about this card on Pyssloteket's blogg today.

I'm also over the moon because this card was picked as a Featured Fawnatic in the fun fold challenge.

Partying penguins

Today I'm up on Pysslotekets blogg with another installment of the #likaolika theme. All of the design team got the same paper pack from KaiserCraft (Beach Shack) where we have all created different things with it. Today I also show one card with the partying penguins from My Favorite Things "Penguins in paradise". I also used stamps from Mama Elephant (Summer days) and Newton's Nook (Cocktail mixer).

Ahoy matey pirate box popup

It's vacation time and we've been away in Italy for a couple of weeks. It's been great, lots of sun and swimming in the ocean. But, I was definitely missing crafting. I also got really obsessed with getting the Lawn Fawn die Scalloped box popup and checked quite a few videos. When we got back, I could not wait any longer and took a trip to my local store Pyssloteket and acquired said die. This is the first project with it, using Lawn Fawn's Ahoy Matey stamp set;
I love when the card pops up. For this one I used papers from KaiserCraft Beach Shack collection and also a silver glitter paper from Pow.

All images are colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

The panels with the blue anchor paper has got some distress ink in Blueprint Sketch.

The sentiment "Happy Birthday" is heat embossed on black cardstock.

This is what the card looks like when it's closed. The sentiments are stamped with Lawn Fawn inks.

This is the back of the card with a little place to write a personal message.

Happy birthday kitties

Just loving the cute little cat agenda stamps from Mama Elephant. I wanted to use the grid window die with ink blending so I decided to use both positive and negative part of the die cut and this is the outcome;

Here I used the a white frame and put the ink blended negative pieces into it. The sentiments are from Lawn Fawn Tiny tags sentiments and Tiny tags sentiments birthday add-on. The background is inked in rainbow order, I tried to do the same with the kitties accessories as well =)

The sentiments are heat embossed in gold.

Here I used the positive grid window die cut of the inked background and put the kitties inside. I thought it looked a bit empty of the inside so the card base have been inked with a stencil of kitty paws from Newton's Nook. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Happy happy happy stamp set.

A little close up.

Altenew dahlia stencils

I totally fell in love with Altenew's Dahlia layering stencil and had to get it. I cut out some masks with a large post-it note pad (full stick) and could then easily mask off the flowers and leaves and use different colors. I used distress ink and an ink blending tool.
I cut the finished panel down a bit and layered it with a piece of black card stock. The stamped sentiment reads "Thanks so much" in Swedish and is from Slöjd-Detaljer. I also added some Clear Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh and some sequins from a Neat and Tangled pack.

The finished panel was cut with the 2nd largest rectangle die from a Hero Arts set. I also cut a black A2-sized panel with the largest rectangle die in that same set. I offset the panel to one corner for something different. The stamped sentiment reads "Thanks so much" in Swedish and is from Slöjd-Detaljer.

The finished panel was cut with the largest rectangle die from a Hero Arts set. The stamped sentiment reads "A big hug" in Swedish and is from Slöjd-Detaljer. I also added some sequins from a Neat and Tangled pack.

The finished panel was cut with the 2nd largest rectangle die from a Hero Arts set. I also cut a black strip of cardstock and attached it to the left side. The finished card is a bit smaller than an standard A2-sized card. The sentiment is die cut with a Lawn Fawn die.

Happy village for Pyssloteket

And now it's time for a new blog post at Pysslotekets blog. Today I'm blogging about Lawn Fawn's set Happy village. I have no idea why this set started such a craving but it really did. I created three cards ranging from simple to interactive;

Happy village pivot pop-up

The Lawn Fawn set Happy village really created a huge craving and I've been creating with it for a while now. I wanted to make a pivot pop-up card using these cute little houses and here it is;

I used papers from the Perfectly plaid Spring collection and the stamps and dies from Happy village. The "Bon voyage" comes from another Lawn Fawn set called "Plane and simple".
