Heat embossing and watercoloring Wplus9 Ranunculus stamp set

I saw Dawn from Wplus9 watercolor this particular stamp set about a year ago and just HAD to have it. Last time I ordered from SSS it was available again and I finally got it. I immediately wanted to watercolor it with distress inks just as I had seen her do. With the video on repeat to pick up all the good tips, I tried out two panels. I was quite pleased with this first result. I loved coloring like that. Need to try it again (...and again... and again *smile*)

The image is stamped twice at different angles and then I heat embossed it. I used a ton of Distress Ink colors. The card is finished off with a stacked sentiment from Lawn Fawn. The bottom layer is done in black and placed a little off so that you get a drop shadow. I also added some sequins and clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh.

Trifold birthday card with flying elephants

I saw such a cute video with Nicole Sphor the other day with the new release from Mama Elephant with flying elephants on or with balloons. I don't have that stampset so I thought I would recreate it with what I have at hand. I dug out the Adorable elephants set from My Favorite Things and also a cute set from WPlus9 and went to town.

I used Bristol Smooth paper and stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink since I would be watercoloring this panel.

The whole panel fully stamped, now with erased pencil lines so they wouldn't get trapped under the ink.

The whole panel colored. The clouds are done by sponging with distress ink in Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean. I used a Lawn Fawn cloud border die cut card panel as a stencil.

The front panel of the card, sentiment die cut from Gummiapan and stamped sentiment from Slöjddetaljer. It reads Congrats on your birthday in Swedish.

Drakar, katter och elefanter

Nu kunde jag inte hålla mig längre. Nu ska de här godingarna få flytta hem till mig;

Jag har gått och suktat länge och nu så har jag precis fyllt år så detta blir en present till mig själv. Förutom stämplar från My Favorite Things så slank det med lite grejor från Newton's Nook, The Greeting Farm, Lawn Fawn, Wplus9, och Simon Says Stamp. När man ändå är igång så är det mycket man "villhöver". Beställde från Simon Says Stamp i USA så vi får se när grejorna dyker upp.
